STORE POLICIES

If you are unsatisfied with any of your merchandise, you may return items in their original condition with tags and receipt within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund. Please note that we do not accept returns for the following:

Items that have been read or used and are no longer in their original new condition
Orders for books in quantities of 3 or more (of the same title)
Discounted items

Workshop and event tickets are fully refundable if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the event date. Should you cancel within 48 hours of the event date, we will refund 50% of the original ticket price.

Any workshops and events cancelled by Spisherbocker Books will receive a full refund.

Shipping

We offer flat-rate $20 shipping within Canada, or free in-store pickup.

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

Should there be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you with details.

In-store pick up may be collected during regular business hours. You will receive a confirmation once your order is ready to be picked up. Photo ID will be required at time of pick up.

We currently do not ship outside of Canada.

Privacy

We may collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and the information necessary to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. This is your personal information and will only be used in accordance with the following:

Examples of Personal Information collected: version of web browser, IP address, time zone, cookie information, what sites or products you view, search terms, how you interact with the site, name, billing address, shipping address, payment information including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number
Purposes of collection: to load the site accurately for you, and to perform analytics on site usage to optimize our site, to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services
Sources of collection: Collected automatically when you access our Site using cookies, log files, web beacons, tags, or pixels.
Disclosures for a business purpose: shared with purchase processing third party.

When you place an order through the Site, we will retain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to erase this information. For more information on your right of erasure, please see the ‘Your rights’ section below.
